Last year everyone posted their bra color as a one-word status message on Facebook in an obnoxious display of internet flirtation masquerading as “raising awareness” for breast cancer. For those of you participating in this year’s version, “I like it on the…” to indicate where you leave you handbag: Please, stop.

It will bring you to the website for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, where you can make a donation in any amount, even one dollar.

If you’re picky about where you donate… they are the ONLY breast cancer-related organization that the American Institute of Philanthropy gives an A+ rating on the way they use their donations. But if BCRF doesn’t float your philanthropic boat, here are some other reputable options:
