Firefox Comment Rendering, It's Not A Bug! But...
I definitely ran into this bug this morning on a very large, production site.
Once you see the “<!--” then ignore everything until you see “-->”. Except Firefox doesn’t do that exactly. It turns out if you have 2 dashes or hyphens contained in the comment, Firefox will prematurely end the comment. And probably break your page.
At least it looks like...

We’re investigating it now to see if it’s aggravated assault or simple assault,” Senior Assistant Ocean County Prosecutor Hillary Bryce told The Press of Atlantic City. “I guess we’ll have to watch the next episode to see what happened,” she said of the alleged assault.
